Having only recently transferred to the the Cooper Union from Bennington College in Vermont, I am greatly enjoying the opportunities to study the fine arts in such a focused manner. In my time at Bennington I was studying everything from chemistry, to modern dance, however after taking an advanced architecture class with a Cooper Union professor and painter, I quickly made the decision to take my chances and apply to the Cooper Union.
At the moment I am primarily studying painting, but in the coming semester will also branch out into paper making, and likely focus more on 2D design. I am eager to learn as much as I can in the limited time I have left, but am equally excited to take these valuable skills and lessons and put them to action. I am considering a career in objects conservation but there is no knowing where the Cooper Union will take me before then.
